Videojet Technologies, coding, mark, and printing solutions provider, has introduced the new Videojet 9550 vi-inch label print and use (LPA) system for direct use labeling applications. By expanding the printing capability of 9550 ii-inch and iv-inch LPA systems, Videojet is now able to offer the 9550's to a wider audience.
Since its launch, over 7,000 Videojet 9550 Directly Apply units have been installed across the world. Using Intelligent Motion engineering science, the unabridged machine is automatically and precisely controlled from the beginning to the end of the shift.
The 9550 design removes the mechanisms that frequently crusade everyday operational problems, such equally label jams and routine manual adjustments. The 9550 with Directly Employ places the label onto the pack without the need for a tamp or air blast applicator, achieving a throughput of upward to 150 packs per minute for typical 4-inch 10 half dozen-inch GS1 barcode labels, dependent on the environment, label quality and substrate).
Manual adjustments are one of the main causes of daily operational issues, resulting in plush reanimation and production loss. The direct drive system, with Intelligent Motion engineering science, feeds and places labels accurately even at loftier line speeds without the use of manual adjustments, clutches, or nip rollers. No adjustments mean that only ii operator touches are now required to manage chore option and web changeover, complemented past a collapsible mandrel to ensure quick characterization changes.
The new Videojet 9550 Direct Employ system removes the need for complex applicators for mainstream pinnacle or side label applications, reducing the number of labels being incorrectly practical or mangled during application. Requiring no factory air, the new organization is the only solution to impress and directly apply labels to cases and trays at high speed. The 9550'due south print engine as well incorporates Intelligent Motility technology for precise ribbon feed and printhead control, ensuring optimum print quality and improved functioning.
In order to help manufacturers improve quality and adhere to applicative standards, the 9550 comes equipped with the Videojet CLARiTY impact screen interface which includes intuitive task selection, comprehensive feedback, and diagnostics to minimize man error.
